 DESCRIPTION
One of Waheed Murad's three films that celebrated Golden Jubilees in 1972, 'Baharon Phool Barsao' is remembered both for the good and for the bad. In veteran film director M. Sadiq's final project, both Rani and Waheed Murad were reported to have created problems for the director. Their total non cooperation and childish antics allegedly drove Sadiq to tears several times during the shoot. The director suffered a severe stroke and died soon after. His friend who was also the producer of the film forced Rani's husband Hassan Tariq to complete the film as a way of making amends for his wife's atrocious behaviour. All in all, one of Waheed Murad's better films, this film is also adorned by Masood Rana's melodius voice - the song, 'Meray dil ki hai Aawaz kay bichhra yaar melay ga' stands out.
